The Eurorack MIDI hub that treats USB, TRS, and Bluetooth as one network - not three separate cables you have to choose between. Deftaudio MIDI-BLE interface bridges your computer, your hardware gear, and your phone or tablet into a single, seamless MIDI setup. Plug it into your rack, connect it to your DAW over USB, patch in your MIDI hardware over standard TRS, and pair wirelessly with any BLE-MIDI app - all three converge through one small module, no fuss.
Three ways in, one module
USB 3x3 - Plugs into any computer or iPad as a native, class-compliant 3-in/3-out MIDI device. No drivers, no setup - appears instantly as "Deftaudio MIDI 3x3" in your DAW's MIDI port list.
2x MIDI TRS - Standard TRS MIDI in/out, ready for your favorite hardware synths, sequencers, and controllers. TRS A or B are configurable for each port.
Bluetooth LE MIDI — Pairs wirelessly with any BLE-MIDI app on iPad, iPhone, Mac, Android, or Linux. Sketch a bassline from across the room — no cable required.
Smart routing, not just an interface A front-panel button and status LED let you choose how your gear interacts:
Green mode - clean, direct pass-through: USB port 1 talks to TRS 1, and TRS 2 becomes a shared meeting point for USB port 2 and your wireless connection.
Red mode - adds a full merge between your two TRS ports, so hardware gear on either jack sees the combined stream of both - perfect for daisy-chaining a small hardware rig without a separate merge box.
Your mode choice is remembered across power cycles, so your rack always comes back the way you left it.
Ready to grow A reserved 10-pin expansion header is ready for a future companion board - OLED display, rotary encoder, extra buttons, and two CV/analog inputs - so today's 3×3 hub can grow into a full control surface without replacing what you already own.
Several options for providing a power (set by a jumper):
To be used with Eurorack 16pin power supply and sourcing 5V from eurorack
To be used with Eurorack 10pin power supply, sourcing 12V from eurorack and doing onboard 5V conversion
Powered over external USB-B
Board size and an enclosure choice: Eurorack size: 4HP, PCB Size: 10.8x6.1cm
Purchasing Options:
PCB only - includes the main PCB and the front panel. BOM list and all design specifications are available on Github.
Complete kit - includes PCBs and all required components as well as 16-pin eurorack ribbon cable
Assembled unit - has all components soldered and comes with a Eurorack power cable
Design notes:
Beginner soldering skills required. That means you have to understand schematics, not just being able to solder two wires together. There are no high expectations, but being able to read schematics and understand polarity of components are quite important.
Populate all passive components first - sockets, capacitors, resistors, etc. This product is only 4HP, please, consider you have enough room to the next module.
Consider proper orientation for Pin1 IC sockets and polarity for capacitors, diode marks.
Cut pins on the back side of PCB close as possible, so it doesn't short neighbor module.
Please, follow the proper orientation of Pin Eurorack power connector(red wire).
Refer to silkscreen instructions for jumper positions for TRS-A or TRS-B specifications
Use only TRS 3.5mm cables. Do not use mono Eurorack cables.
